What you'll study

Students complete graduate coursework during the first year at NYU New York and then undertake cutting‑edge physics research in NYU Abu Dhabi laboratories. Experimental students have access to advanced microscopy, imaging and prototyping facilities that support experimental biophysics and related work; research topics and methods reflect the faculty and lab strengths at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

If selected the doctorate is fully funded under the NYU Abu Dhabi Global PhD Student Fellowship. Funding provisions include tuition, fees and health insurance for the duration of the programme; a research assistantship and stipend provided by NYU Abu Dhabi; assistance for degree‑related travel between Abu Dhabi and New York; campus accommodation at no cost in Abu Dhabi; and a contribution toward accommodation costs in New York.
