What you'll study

The first two years share a common core focused on mathematics, computer science and fundamental physical sciences, supplemented by humanities, social sciences, innovation and entrepreneurship, business and management, and the arts. In years three and four students choose campus-specific specializations.

• City University of Hong Kong majors (examples offered in years three and four): Aerospace Engineering; Computer and Data Engineering; Electronic and Electrical Engineering; Information Engineering; Innovation and Enterprise Engineering; Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering; Materials Science and Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Nuclear and Risk Engineering.
• CentraleSupélec streams (examples offered in years three and four): Bioengineering — covering cell biology, biochemical processes, bioreactor design, downstream processing, modelling and scale-up of bioprocesses; Data Sciences — covering algorithm design, data modelling, programming, database technologies and AI applications; Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering (Thermofluids).

Entry requirements

The program entry point is at baccalaureate (Bac) level. Students may begin at either City University of Hong Kong or CentraleSupélec. The program language is English and study mode is full-time. A minimum of 24 weeks of internships is required across the degree, with placements oriented to both research and industry and typically taken at the end of each academic year.

Career prospects

Graduates are prepared for roles that bridge engineering, innovation and enterprise. Bioengineering stream graduates are readied for industry or research positions in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and sustainable bio-manufacturing. Data Sciences graduates gain the technical and analytical skills relevant to data-driven and AI-related roles. CityUHK majors open pathways across traditional and emerging engineering sectors such as aerospace, materials, manufacturing, information and electrical engineering.
