What you'll study

Coursework and projects emphasize hands-on production and storytelling. Core learning includes video production, editing, digital storytelling and on-screen performance. In the Film concentration students study directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing and post-production while producing original films for a portfolio. The Sports Media concentration provides live event coverage, commentary, sports journalism and video production experience through ACUTV, the student-run TV station and ESPN+ affiliate. Students also have opportunities such as the LA Experience short-film intensive and participation in the annual ACU Film Fest to produce and showcase original work.
