Entry requirements

Applicants must have reached junior status, defined as at least 60 college-level semester hours in cybersecurity, network administration, or a related field. They must have completed 12 credit hours of specified cybersecurity coursework (or equivalent from another institution): ITSY 2300, ITSY 2301, ITSY 2330, and ITSY 2343. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is required. Students are admitted to the BAS through a program application; meeting college admission alone does not guarantee acceptance. Current AAS students are advised to complete the associate degree and discuss prerequisites with an ACC advisor.

Graduates are prepared for roles that analyze networks, investigate security incidents, and design protective systems.
