What you'll study

Students follow an M.Div. core covering biblical studies, theology, church history, pastoral ministry, preaching and spiritual formation, supplemented by concentration-specific electives. Concentration options include:

• Biblical Studies: focused on Scripture and interpretation for preaching, teaching or academic work.
• Ministry and Missions Leadership: emphasises leadership, church development and cross‑cultural mission practice for local or global ministry roles.
• Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy: integrates theology with chaplaincy skills for roles providing care and spiritual support in varied settings.

Entry requirements

To apply, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and supply official transcripts from all prior colleges or universities. Applicants are expected to meet a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Typical application materials include two letters of recommendation (academic or ministry references) and a personal statement describing calling and goals. An interview may be requested based on the submitted application materials.

Graduates commonly move into pastoral and ministry leadership roles such as senior or associate pastor, church planter, missionary, chaplain (military, healthcare, corrections), ministry director, nonprofit leader, Christian educator, or continue toward theological scholarship and Ph.D. study.
