Eligibility Criteria
To be a successful candidate, you must meet the following requirements:
Academic Degree: You must hold a first university degree (e.g., Bachelor's) recognized in Germany. If you already have a Master's degree, you are not eligible.
Recency of Degree: Your last academic degree should generally not be older than six years at the time of application.
Academic Excellence: Candidates are expected to have a solid, above-average academic record.
Language Proficiency: You must provide proof of proficiency in the language of instruction (English or German). A minimum level of B1 is required at the time of application, regardless of the university's requirements.
Residency: You must not have lived in Germany for more than 15 months by the application deadline.

Find Your Program: Identify up to five tuition-free Master's programs in the DAAD database that match your background.
Register on the DAAD Portal: All applications must be submitted online through the official portal.
Prepare Documents:
Full tabular CV (max 3 pages).
Letter of Motivation (1-3 pages) detailing your academic and personal reasons for studying in Germany.
Proof of language skills (TestDaF, DSH, IELTS, or TOEFL).
University degree certificates and transcripts.
One recent letter of recommendation from a university teacher.
