Scholarship Description: The University of Kent is awarding Architecture scholarships to study a full-time BA (Hons) programme starting in September 2015. Two scholarships are open for full-time Home/EU applicants and one is open for a full-time international applicant. Scholarships will be awarded £1,000 in their first year of study and will also have the first year field trip to Barcelona (travel and accommodation) pay for. Students will be awarded the scholarship for the ‘most outstanding portfolio’. The application deadline is 31 May 2015.

For 2015/16, the School of Architecture has three 10th Anniversary Scholarships for their BA (Hons) students starting in September 2015. Two scholarships are open for full-time Home/EU applicants and one is open for a full-time international applicant. Students will be awarded the scholarship for the ‘most outstanding portfolio’. They will be awarded £1,000 in their first year of study and will also have the first year field trip to Barcelona (travel and accommodation) paid for.

-Open to full-time applicants from any country
-Have made an application via UCAS to study a full-time BA (Hons) Architecture at Kent for 2015 entry
-Have been made a conditional/unconditional offer for full-time study
-Have accepted the offer with Kent being the firm choice on UCAS.

  • Two scholarships are open for full-time Home/EU applicants and one is open for a full-time international applicant.

  • The scholarship is paid for one year.

  • They will be awarded £1,000 in their first year of study and will also have the first year field trip to Barcelona (travel and accommodation) pay for.


Selection Criteria: Students will be awarded the scholarship for the ‘most outstanding portfolio’.

How to Apply: Applicants must have made an application via UCAS to study a full-time BA (Hons) Architecture at Kent for 2015 entry. Submit a portfolio containing 10 images to architecture-at-kent.ac.uk by 31 May 2015 with your name, applicant ID number and have the subject line of BA (Hons) Architecture scholarship 2015.
