This programme combines theoretical and applied study of globalisation, drawing on political science, economics, sociology, development studies and cultural analysis. Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, international relations or a related field. Typical application materials include official transcripts, a statement of purpose outlining academic and professional objectives, two or three letters of recommendation, and a curriculum vitae.

Where English is not the applicant’s first language, an approved English language test score or evidence of prior tertiary-level study in English is usually required. Some programmes may request GRE or other test scores, but this requirement can vary; applicants should check the specific departmental guidance.
