What you'll study

The programme combines core musicianship training with applied performance and ensemble experience. Typical components include music theory and aural skills, music history and literature, applied lessons (one‑to‑one instruction), chamber and large ensembles, conducting fundamentals, composition and arranging, and music technology. Students complete regular performance requirements such as juries and recitals and may take specialised electives in areas such as jazz studies, world music, electronic music production, pedagogy or opera.

Study is structured around a mix of classroom courses, weekly private instruction, ensemble rehearsals and performance practica.
