Entry requirements

• Academic background: a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in studio art or a closely related field. Applicants with other undergraduate degrees but substantial studio experience are also considered.
• Portfolio: a curated portfolio of recent work demonstrating technical skill, concept development and a coherent artistic direction. Digital submission guidelines are provided by the department.
• Supporting documents: a personal statement outlining artistic goals and research interests, official transcripts, and letters of recommendation (typically two or three) from academic or professional referees.
