What you'll study

The programme combines concentrated studio practice with critical theory, professional development and public presentation. Students research and develop a coherent body of work that culminates in a publicly mounted thesis exhibition and an accompanying written component or artist’s project statement.

Entry requirements

Applicants are usually expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in fine art or a related field, or to demonstrate equivalent professional experience. Admission typically requires a digital portfolio of recent work, a personal statement outlining artistic goals and research interests, academic transcripts, and two to three professional or academic references. Applicants whose first language is not English will need to provide evidence of English proficiency. Prospective students with relevant professional practice but without an undergraduate art degree may be considered on the strength of their portfolio and experience.
