What you'll study

The programme builds a solid foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics, then applies those tools to environmental and policy questions. Core modules typically include Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Econometrics/Applied Statistics.

Environmental specialism modules commonly cover Environmental Economics, Natural Resource Economics, Economics of Climate Change, Environmental Policy and Regulation, Cost‑Benefit Analysis, and Valuation Methods for Non‑Market Goods. Students can also expect classes in public economics, law and economics, and regional/environmental planning.

Applicants should hold a recognised secondary school diploma.
