What you'll study

The programme builds from a foundation of general business studies into focused international coursework. Early years concentrate on core business disciplines — accounting, finance, marketing, management and business statistics — while upper-level work addresses the specific demands of operating in global markets.

• Core business subjects: Principles of Management, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Business Finance, Marketing, Business Statistics and Business Law.
• International major courses: Introduction to International Business, International Marketing, International Finance, Cross-Cultural Management, Global Supply Chain Management, International Trade and Investment, and International Business Strategy.
• Supporting studies: Economics (micro and macro), business ethics and international business law/regulatory environment.
• Skills and practicum: Emphasis on case studies, group projects, negotiation and communication across cultures. Many students complete an internship, capstone project or international practicum as part of their degree.

Entry requirements

Typical entry requires a satisfactory secondary school leaving qualification equivalent to U.S. high school graduation and meeting the University of Central Oklahoma's general admission standards.
