What you'll study

This programme combines core methodological training with applied policy coursework. Core modules typically cover microeconomics for policy, econometrics and programme evaluation, cost–benefit analysis, policy design and ethics. Students learn quantitative methods (regression, causal inference, experimental and quasi‑experimental approaches), qualitative techniques (interviews, case studies, process tracing) and practical skills such as data visualisation, policy communication and stakeholder analysis.

Admissions typically require a personal statement outlining policy interests and goals, a current CV, academic transcripts and at least two letters of recommendation. Some applicants submit results from the GRE or other standardised tests where required; non‑native English speakers must demonstrate English language proficiency according to university requirements. Relevant professional experience can strengthen an application but is not always mandatory.
