What you'll study

The programme combines core theory with hands‑on practice across computing fundamentals and applied information science. Typical first‑ and second‑year subjects establish programming, discrete mathematics, data structures and algorithms, digital logic, computer organisation, and introductory databases and web development. Later years focus on operating systems, software engineering, computer networks, database systems, human–computer interaction, machine learning and data analytics, plus electives in cybersecurity, mobile application development, cloud computing and IoT.

Students complete laboratory classes, team projects and a capstone final year project that integrates design, implementation and evaluation. The curriculum normally includes a professional practice component such as an industry internship or field placement to build workplace experience, and opportunities to undertake research modules or industry‑linked projects supervised by academic staff.
