Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised undergraduate degree in diagnostic radiography, medical imaging, radiation sciences or a closely related health discipline. Alternatively, candidates with a professional diploma plus substantial clinical experience in imaging may be considered.

• Current professional registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant Maltese or national regulatory body (where applicable) is usually required for clinical components.
• Relevant clinical experience in diagnostic imaging is normally expected; many applicants have at least one to two years of post-qualification experience.
• Evidence of competence in English for applicants whose first language is not English (for example recognised language test scores) may be requested.
• Applicants typically need to submit transcripts, a CV detailing clinical experience, and references; a brief personal statement outlining clinical interests and proposed area of study is often required.
