What you'll study

The programme combines core compulsory work in advanced theory and research methods with a selection of specialist modules that reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the field. Typical taught elements include research design and methodologies (qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods), advanced theoretical frameworks, subject-specific seminars, and applied practice modules. Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, typically with at least a second-class honours standard or equivalent academic standing. Mature applicants with substantial relevant professional experience and an appropriate qualification may be considered. Applicants whose first language is not English will be asked to demonstrate proficiency in English through an approved test or equivalent evidence of study in English. Additional application materials usually include a CV, an academic transcript, and one or two references; some applicants may be invited to provide a brief research proposal or undergo an interview.
