What you'll study

The programme blends rigorous management fundamentals with modules that explore environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, sustainable strategy and impact measurement. Teaching typically covers a mix of compulsory core courses, sustainability specialisms, electives and an applied final project or internship.

• Core management modules: organisational behaviour, strategic management, financial accounting and management, marketing for sustainable markets, operations and supply chain management.
• Sustainability specialist modules: corporate social responsibility, sustainable business models and innovation, ESG reporting and standards, sustainability metrics and impact measurement, climate risk and corporate strategy.
• Quantitative and analytical skills: business analytics, econometrics for sustainability, data visualisation and decision‑making tools used in ESG analysis.
• Electives and international perspectives: students can choose electives such as social entrepreneurship, sustainable finance, circular economy, public policy and regulation, or courses on cross‑cultural management.
• Applied learning: a consulting project, capstone dissertation or internship with a corporate, NGO, consultancy or public body gives practical experience in implementing sustainability initiatives and reporting.
• Skills development: workshops in stakeholder engagement, ethical leadership, sustainability communications and project management are integrated throughout the programme.

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Candidates from a variety of academic backgrounds — business, economics, social sciences, engineering or natural sciences — are considered, provided they demonstrate strong academic performance and motivation for sustainability.

• Academic transcripts: certified transcripts showing degree awarded and grades.
• Language proficiency: evidence of English proficiency is required if previous education was not in English (standard tests such as IELTS or TOEFL are commonly accepted).
• Supporting documents: a CV, a personal statement or motivation letter outlining interest in sustainability and career goals, and usually one or two academic or professional references.
• Admissions tests: some applicants may submit GMAT/GRE scores to strengthen their application, particularly if their academic record requires additional evidence of quantitative ability; these are considered but not always mandatory.
• Work experience: while recent graduates are welcome, relevant professional or voluntary experience in sustainability, CSR or project work can be an advantage for admission and for internship placement.

Graduates enter a wide range of roles across corporate, public and third sectors. The programme prepares students to translate sustainability principles into strategic decisions, operational improvements and stakeholder engagement.
