The Psychological Science BS combines foundational coursework in psychological theory with substantial training in research methods, statistics and laboratory techniques. Core topics include biological bases of behaviour, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology and learning. Structure

Entry requirements

Applicants should present a strong secondary-school academic record with particular strength in mathematics and science. Recommended preparation includes courses in algebra, precalculus or calculus, and laboratory science; prior coursework in psychology is helpful but not mandatory. For international applicants, equivalent secondary qualifications are required and proof of English proficiency is normally requested if previous instruction was not in English. Applicants who have completed college-level coursework or Advanced Placement/IB subjects may receive credit according to WPI policies.
