Entry requirements

Applicants must already have a bachelor’s degree in any subject and have completed the program's required prerequisite courses. The ABSN is a full-time, in-person program with classes and clinicals conducted in Fort Wayne; clinical placements take place at Parkview Health facilities in the region.

Career prospects

Graduates earn a Huntington University BSN and are prepared for licensure and clinical nursing roles. The program reports a long history of career-ready graduates, including a 100% job placement rate among licensed graduates for more than ten years. Parkview Health hosts clinical rotations and is a primary employer partner for program participants.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Qualifying students may participate in the Parkview ABSN Scholarship and job placement arrangement: Parkview Health and the Questa Education Foundation can cover the entire cost of the program over time for those who commit to work for Parkview for three years or more after graduation. Program participants who accept this scholarship also have job placement with Parkview upon successful completion of the degree.
