What you'll study

The core curriculum covers essential business disciplines including accounting, finance, economics, marketing and analytics while also developing leadership, teamwork and ethical decision-making abilities. Students engage with real-world case studies and simulations from organizations such as the NFL, Amazon and Chick-fil-A and are encouraged to apply theory directly to current workplace challenges. The program offers in-demand specializations by selecting three focused electives (9 credits) from tracks such as:

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and submit official transcripts. No GRE or GMAT is required and there is no application fee; materials are reviewed on a rolling basis as received. Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA required is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants with a GPA between 2.7 and 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission; applicants with a GPA below 2.7 will not be considered. Candidates with non-business degrees are recommended to have coursework in accounting, economics, finance or business administration (or at least 12 credit hours in those topics) or may submit GMAT scores; applicants without that background can take a free online refresher course. International applicants who did not earn their baccalaureate in an English-speaking country must demonstrate English proficiency with either a TOEFL score of 4 or above or an IELTS score of 6.5 or above. For distance-education identity verification the college uses secure logins, proctored exams, government photo ID and/or other effective technologies; there are no fees for identity verification. F-1 students should contact enrollment for details about the hybrid option.

Career prospects

The program aims to prepare graduates to make ethical, faith-informed decisions and to lead teams effectively while solving complex business problems. Through applied case work and simulations, graduates should be able to translate classroom learning into improved performance in areas such as management, operations, analytics, strategy and sector-specific roles tied to their chosen specialization.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Northwestern offers an Alumni Grant that provides a 50% tuition discount for the first course to alumni who completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at the college. The published per-credit cost for the program is $520; prospective students should contact the college for current tuition, fees and additional financial aid options.
