Entry requirements

Applicants must present at least 24 semester credits (transferable undergraduate work) from a regionally accredited institution. Additional application items include a goal statement and two letters of recommendation if requested. Antioch conducts a formal evaluation of transfer credits during admissions.

The degree’s customizable structure is intended to let graduates combine liberal arts study with professional areas to create pathways into roles such as program leadership in education or human services, trade- or industry-focused writing, and other careers where communication, leadership, and multicultural humanities perspectives are valued.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Federal and state grants and federal loans may be available to qualifying students. Antioch also supports substantial use of transfer credits and prior learning credits (up to 30 semester credits/45 quarter credits) to reduce time-to-degree and tuition expense; the program publishes a per-credit tuition rate and offers advisors for unofficial transcript evaluation.
