What you'll study

Training is research-centred and problem-driven, with real-world management and organisational issues as the focal point. Entry requirements

  • Academic qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a bachelor’s degree with first-class honours in a relevant field. Foreign diplomas and transcripts must be notarised in Vietnamese and accompanied by official recognition where required.
  • Research competence: applicants must demonstrate research ability via at least one of: a research-oriented master’s thesis; a work contract or confirmation showing at least 24 months as a lecturer or researcher at a university/college or scientific organisation; or authorship of at least one peer-reviewed scientific article or conference paper in the intended research area.
  • Language competence: evidence of foreign-language ability sufficient for research and international engagement. Acceptable proofs include (among others) TOEFL iBT (direct testing) with score from 46, IELTS from 5.5, Cambridge B2-level certificates, PTE 59–75, or other language certificates equivalently recognised at bậc 4 or higher under Vietnam’s six-level framework. Other listed language tests (French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Russian) are acceptable at their specified levels. Applicants who study in Vietnamese but are foreign nationals must meet Vietnamese language requirements.
  • Application process: online submission via the university’s doctoral application system with required documents such as the application form, a research CV, scanned diplomas and transcripts, language evidence, research samples (thesis or publications) or employment confirmation, a research proposal and study plan, a recent ID-style photo and any additional notarised foreign credential recognitions.
