Scholarship Overview

The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association (JTEA) is offering the 2026 Japan Scholarship (Domestic Recruitment) to encourage academic excellence and strengthen cultural ties between Japan and Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • As of April 1, 2026, be enrolled in a regular program at a Japanese university.

  • Be under 35 years old as of April 1, 2026.

Application Procedure

  1. Download the official forms from the JTEA website

    • Supervisor’s recommendation letter

    • Health certificate

    • Pledge form

    • Checklist (to be sent via email to the JTEA Scholarship Department)

  3. Print in A4 size and mail the completed application to the JTEA office.
