Turkey ARIT Research Fellowships 2026 (Fully Funded)

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Scholars and advanced graduate students focusing on Turkey-related research in the humanities or social sciences.
- Graduate student applicants must have completed all doctoral requirements except the dissertation by June 2026.
- Non-U.S. applicants must be affiliated with a recognized educational institution in the U.S. or Canada.
- Applicants must be able to obtain appropriate research permits and visas from Turkish authorities.

Research Permission Requirement
Successful applicants are responsible for obtaining research permits and visas from relevant Turkish authorities. For projects under three months, a tourist visa may be acceptable, while longer research stays require a research visa and permits from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
