What you'll study

The program builds a solid foundation across the four classic subfields: archaeology, cultural anthropology, physical anthropology and linguistics. Coursework and training emphasize scientific concepts, theories and methods, and how those frameworks interact with cultural bias. Students learn practical methods including ethnographic research, and gain experience in data collection, interpretation, statistical and computational analysis.
