What you'll study

Students enroll in an associate program of study for approximately two years and will follow the curriculum associated with the specific program they choose; program lists and individual program pages contain course-by-course details and any program-specific booklets (for health science and nursing).

Entry requirements

• Complete the online application and list a program of interest; it is acceptable to change programs later.
• Provide personal information: legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, physical address, unique personal email, and unique cell phone number.
• Supply secondary and post-secondary education details: high school name/location/graduation date (or expected date), and names/locations/dates attended and degrees for any colleges or universities previously attended.
• Submit transcripts from other colleges/universities if you plan to apply for financial aid.
• Pay a non-refundable application fee; health science and nursing applicants must additionally submit a $60 non-refundable, non-transferable application and entrance exam proctoring fee and meet program-specific eligibility from the relevant application booklets.
• Students seeking Florida residency for tuition must submit documentation; residency cannot be established solely by 12 months of college enrollment.
• Returning students who have not been enrolled within 24 months must reapply; contact Student Records before reapplying if your name has changed.
• International applicants seeking an F-1 visa must select International (Applicant for F1 Student Visa) on the application.
• Dual enrollment high school applicants must confirm eligibility with their high school counselor prior to applying.
• Transient students: those from Florida public institutions submit a Transient Student Admission Application; students from private or non-Florida public institutions submit an IRSC application with Transient student type plus a transient form from their home institution.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

IRSC advises applicants to meet priority deadlines to ensure financial aid can be awarded before classes start. FAFSA and required documents should be submitted by the priority deadline for your intended term (Fall priority: July 15; Spring priority: October 15; Summer priority: March 16). If you miss the priority deadline, apply as soon as possible to be considered for remaining funding and consult the college's financial aid guide.
