What you'll study

The program covers practical and strategic aspects of logistics and supply chain management with hands‑on and simulation elements. Sample courses and emphases include:

• SCM 3010 Procurement and Supply Chain Management — procurement strategies, ethical/contractual/legal issues, supplier selection and relationship management, special purchasing applications and use of industry simulation software.
• SCM 4210 Advanced Topics in Supply Chain Management — a capstone that examines current and emerging industry trends (strategic outsourcing, risk mitigation, inventory allocation, transportation and customer service). Students use supply chain modeling and present recommendations based on experimental analysis; includes guest lectures and webinars.
• BUS 6900 Strategy in a Global Environment — MBA capstone integrating prior coursework through strategic analysis of public corporations and a decision‑making business simulation.

Entry requirements

The program is structured as a 3+1 pathway: admitted students may take up to 15 MBA credit hours during their junior and senior undergraduate years that count toward both degrees. Admission into the MBA portion requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Core supply chain courses are delivered exclusively online.

Graduates are prepared for roles across procurement, planning and distribution. Typical positions held by alumni and graduates include project manager, supply/demand planner, vendor‑managed inventory analyst, logistics analyst, production planner, transportation specialist, and material/warehouse manager.
