What you'll study

Entry requirements

The School of Theology and Ministry allows advanced standing for students who hold relevant undergraduate coursework; advanced standing with credit may cover up to 25% of the graduate programme when courses meet accreditation and grade criteria and competency is demonstrated by oral or written assessment. Listed undergraduate preparatory courses include BIL 510 Biblical Hermeneutics and THE 500 Christian Doctrine, plus two specified undergraduate Bible or theology courses from the provided list (examples: Pentateuch, Historical Books, Johannine Literature, Pauline epistles, Luke-Acts, Wesleyan theology options). Graduate credits-in-escrow are available for seniors at IWU to take up to two graduate courses in their final undergraduate semester with approval. The School reserves the right to determine course equivalency and to require assessments to grant advanced credit.
