The academic content is defined by a Study Plan negotiated and approved between the course coordinations at UTFPR and the partner institution. The exact modules and structure depend on the agreement for your course and must be agreed prior to departure.

Entry requirements

• Applications are made in response to a specific edital for your course; each edital sets its own eligibility rules.
• Typical criteria referenced in the editais include: stage in the degree programme, academic performance (coeficiente de rendimento), willingness and ability to live abroad for the required period, and proficiency in the host country language or the language of instruction (Portuguese is excepted).
• After passing the edital selection, candidates receive instructions for applying to the partner institution (required documents and deadlines). Acceptance by the partner is subject to that institution's analysis; admitted students receive a Carta de Aceite.
• Once accepted, students must arrange travel and formalize their temporary afastamento (leave) with UTFPR.
