Programme overview

This programme blends equine science and management topics, taught using best practices drawn from around the world. It aims to give a broad scientific foundation together with extensive practical experience so you can apply scientific knowledge to real-world situations in the equine sector. The course is delivered full time at the Oatridge campus over four years, with intake in September (next start listed as September 2026).

What you'll study

Teaching covers a range of equine science and management subjects and emphasises practical experience alongside theoretical learning. The programme prepares students to manage overall horse care across different disciplines and settings and develops knowledge relevant to nutrition, behaviour and welfare.
