Entry requirements

Admissions require qualification in TG-POLYCET under the agricultural stream administered by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad. Candidates must have passed the SSC (10th) or an equivalent examination recognised by the State Board, with Science as one subject and at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination as applicable. Age must be at least 15 years as on 31 December of the year of admission, with an upper age limit of 22 years.

Graduates are prepared for technical roles in agriculture: supporting farmers at the grassroots, working in government agricultural departments, NGOs, and agro-based industries, or taking up enterprise-oriented activities in the food and farming sector. The diplomas also serve as direct preparation for those aiming to continue to BSc (Hons) Agriculture or BTech (Agricultural Engineering) by taking the university’s AGRICET or AGRIENGGCET entrance examinations.
