What you'll study

Teams scope a client problem, conduct research and data-driven analysis, develop a solution, and design steps for implementation. Deliverables include a comprehensive written report and a client presentation. Recent capstone topics have included optimizing the Coast Guard Recruiting Command’s footprint; reimagining contingency planning and resource management; aggregating procurement and warehousing to improve mission support; improving personnel staffing models; analysing and optimising operations at the Academy clinic; and examining Coast Guard retention.

Entry requirements

Enrollment is available to all first-class (senior) cadets who are Management majors; it functions as the departmental senior capstone.
