Electives span areas such as Machine Learning Methods for Business, Artificial Intelligence for Business Decisions, New Venture Creation, Leading Business Turnarounds, Negotiations, and Real Estate Investment Fundamentals. Students can specialise via seven concentrations (including Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Business Analytics, Quantitative Finance (STEM), and Business Analytics & Machine Learning (STEM)) and intensity tracks like Entrepreneurship, Family Business, STE, WIN Lab®, Babson College Fund, and Business & Social Innovation.
Babson does not require GMAT or GRE scores for admission. The programme typically admits students with an average of 5–7 years of work experience, though admitted students have ranged from 0 to 24 years; applicants with fewer years of full-time experience are considered case-by-case. The full-time MBA is offered on the Wellesley, MA campus and is visa-eligible for international students.
Graduates are prepared to found startups, lead family businesses into a new generation, or drive innovation within large organisations. The curriculum and project work produce practical consulting examples and an expanded professional network to demonstrate applied problem solving to employers. STEM-designated concentrations expand OPT eligibility to 36 months for eligible international graduates, supporting longer post-graduation work opportunities.
All applicants to the full-time MBA are automatically considered for Babson merit awards that may provide partial or full tuition support; awards recognise leadership, diversity, and other strengths. Babson alumni are eligible for a 20% tuition reduction. The programme notes additional funding avenues and encourages prospective students to explore merit aid and alumni discounts.
