Cedarville’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is an ACPE-accredited professional doctorate that integrates biblical perspectives with a modular, practice-focused curriculum. The program emphasizes clinical patient care, experiential training in real-world health settings, and faculty mentoring within the School of Pharmacy’s Center for Pharmacy Innovation. The professional curriculum is delivered as a four-year sequence and may be completed in six- or seven-year plans when combined with preprofessional coursework.

What you'll study

The curriculum uses a modular approach to build clinical skills progressively, with classroom time concentrated on applying knowledge to patient care. Approximately one-third of coursework takes place off campus in sites such as health systems, pharmacies, clinics and pharmaceutical companies. Applicants start the process through the Pharmacy Centralized Application Service (PharmCAS) and must complete the free Cedarville graduate application. There is an Early Decision option via PharmCAS; accepted Early Decision applicants receive a first-year scholarship and are not placed on a waitlist.
