What you'll study

Coursework covers core public health disciplines including biostatistics, behavioral sciences and health education, environmental and occupational health, epidemiology, health policy and management, and public health practice. Learning is delivered via streaming audio/video lectures and includes a tailored research assignment that leverages your workplace. The program culminates with a practicum completed in the final semester to maximize scheduling flexibility.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and normally have at least three years of professional public health or healthcare work experience. Candidates must demonstrate academic potential via either a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 semester hours or a minimum GRE score of 300 (150 verbal and 150 quantitative). All applicants who do not already hold a terminal degree are required to submit GRE scores.
