What you'll study

The curriculum combines theological foundation courses with practical ministry topics. Example course titles provided by the programme include:

• Advanced Preaching and Teaching — coursework aimed at creative methodologies of preaching for 21st-century listeners.
• Ministry Philosophy for the Church — study of ministry perspectives applicable to the local church context in North America.

Entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a four-year bachelor’s degree or international equivalent from a recognized institution. Graduates from Bible colleges, liberal arts colleges, and state institutions are encouraged to apply. Candidates with pre-seminary education from non-accredited schools or with GPA below 2.5 may be admitted on academic restriction. Applicants without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they meet specified ministry experience and research/writing requirements; contact Seminary Admissions for details. Admission materials include official transcripts (unofficial allowed for initial review if degree is in progress) and one spiritual life reference. International applicants must submit TESOL test scores and a financial certificate showing sufficient funding.

The programme targets preparation for pastoral roles within the local church. Typical ministry positions pursued by graduates include senior pastor, associate pastor, assistant pastor, executive pastor, and church elder. Coursework supports responsibilities such as preaching, teaching, pastoral care, church leadership and administration, and biblical counseling.
