What you'll study

The concentration requires advanced language and research work to develop exegetical competence. Core topics and example courses listed by the programme include:

• Advanced courses in Biblical Greek language
• Advanced courses in Biblical Hebrew language (e.g., Hebrew Exegesis II, Advanced Hebrew Exegesis)
• Old and New Testament research and exegesis (e.g., Advanced Greek Exegesis)
• Practical and theological subjects that support preaching and formation, such as Spiritual Formation and Expository Preaching & Teaching

Entry requirements

Admission requires a four-year bachelor’s degree or international equivalent from a recognized institution. Applicants must provide official transcripts (unofficial acceptable for initial review while a degree is in progress) and a spiritual life reference and have a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. Candidates with pre-seminary GPAs below 2.5 or degrees from non-accredited institutions may be admitted on academic restriction. Applicants without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they meet specified ministry experience and research/writing requirements. International applicants must supply TESOL test scores and a financial certificate demonstrating sufficient funding.

Graduates are prepared for ministry and ministry-adjacent roles that require careful study and faithful teaching of Scripture. Typical outcomes named by the programme include:

• Bible teacher in secondary or parachurch settings
• Content producer or editor for denominational, parachurch, or publishing ministries
• Professor or preparation for Ph.D. studies
