What you'll study

The curriculum covers assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and interprofessional collaboration for people with psychiatric and mental health needs. Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and CHEA and hold national nursing programmatic accreditation (CCNE, ACEN, CNEA). Applicants must meet the master’s nursing admission requirements for the chosen major and submit an official transcript showing the completed graduate nursing degree. A criminal background check (at the student’s expense) is required upon admission and must be completed within six weeks of program start; documentation of background checks, health/immunization records, and drug screening may be requested by clinical sites. The Division of Masters Nursing may require an interview and/or GRE. Acceptance remains valid for 18 months.
