What you'll study

The programme is built around practical business studies and international perspectives. Core teaching methods across courses include lectures and discussions, group assignments, student presentations and applied, work‑related projects. Several study units can feature visiting lecturers from foreign partner universities.

Entry requirements

Eligibility follows the Finnish UAS admission rules. Acceptable prior qualifications include a Finnish upper secondary school certificate or matriculation, International Baccalaureate (IB), European Baccalaureate (EB), Reifeprüfung/Deutsches Internationales Abitur (RP/DIA), a Finnish vocational qualification of specified scope, Finnish institute‑level or higher vocational qualifications, or a foreign qualification that grants higher education access in its country. If a qualifying qualification is in progress at application time it must be verifiable from databases or certificate copies by 9.7.2026; certificate data included in selection must be available by 12.5.2026. Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency by prior studies or a separate language test before they can be invited to the International UAS Exam and be eligible for selection. Application period: 7–21 January 2026 (until 15:00). The programme has 40 intake places. Selection routes and places: International UAS Exam (digital, in English, remote) — 24 places; SAT score selection (new SAT only, tests after March 2016; minimum 400 per listed section; electronic delivery to OAMK; code 7533; results must be in the database by 30.3.2026) — 4 places; certificate‑based selections for upper secondary and vocational qualifications (various allocations: 8 places for matriculation certificate holders, 4 places for vocational qualification holders). Career prospects

The curriculum’s practical, project‑based focus prepares graduates for entry and junior roles in international sales, customer service, business development, export/import coordination and other operational business functions where English and applied business skills are required. The degree is vocationally oriented and intended to connect with employers through workplace projects and practical training.
