What you'll study

This programme combines core business disciplines with specialised study in management and operations. You will build a foundation in accounting, finance, marketing and business law, then progress to modules that address the planning, control and improvement of business processes.

• Core business foundations: principles of management, financial and managerial accounting, business finance, marketing, business law and ethics.
• Management and organisational studies: organisational behaviour, leadership, human resource management and strategic management.
• Operations and supply chain: operations management, logistics and supply chain fundamentals, procurement and production planning.
• Analytical skills: quantitative methods, business statistics, operations research and introductory business analytics for decision making.
• Project and process improvement: project management, quality management and process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma principles at an introductory level.
• Experiential learning and capstone: internship or practicum opportunities, applied projects with industry partners and a capstone course that integrates management and operations knowledge in a real-world problem.

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised secondary school diploma or equivalent.
