What you'll study

The Sociology programme combines core sociological theory with applied research methods to help you understand how societies are organised and how social change occurs. You will take foundational courses such as Introduction to Sociology, Social Theory, and Social Research Methods alongside statistics for social scientists.

Applicants should have a recognised secondary school completion (high school diploma or equivalent). Admission typically considers academic performance, coursework in English and social studies, and a competitive overall record. The university accepts transfer applicants with college credits; transfer admission will consider college GPA and completed coursework.

Standard application materials include a completed application form and academic transcripts. Standardised test submissions (SAT/ACT) may be optional depending on institutional policy.
