What you'll study

The programme integrates core courses in linguistics with focused study of Romance languages and their literatures. You will study the structure, history and social use of language while developing reading, writing and oral skills in one or more Romance languages (commonly Spanish, French and/or Italian). The curriculum balances theoretical and applied strands so you can both analyse linguistic systems and apply language skills in real-world contexts.
