What you'll study

The programme combines core MBA courses with a specialised set of management and operations modules. Core topics cover finance for managers, marketing strategy, organisational behaviour, managerial economics and quantitative methods to build a broad management foundation.

• Operations Management and Strategy – process design, capacity planning, operations strategy and performance metrics.
• Supply Chain Management – procurement, logistics, inventory control, distribution networks and supplier relationship management.
• Project and Process Management – project planning, scheduling, risk management, lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Business Analytics and Decision Models – data-driven decision making, forecasting, optimisation and simulation techniques.
• Leadership and Organisational Change – team leadership, change management, negotiation and ethical decision making.
• Electives and Practicum – students choose electives in areas such as operations consulting, technology operations, healthcare operations or sustainable supply chains, and often complete a capstone project or consulting practicum with an employer or interdisciplinary team.

Delivery typically includes case studies, team projects, simulation exercises and applied consulting work. Many students can select a full-time, part-time or executive pathway and may take advantage of experiential lab courses and industry-sponsored projects.

Entry requirements

• Undergraduate degree – a recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Strong quantitative preparation is recommended.
• Work experience – programmes commonly expect several years of professional experience for executive or professional MBA options; full-time MBA pathways admit recent graduates as well as early-career professionals.
• Standardised tests – GMAT or GRE may be required unless a waiver is granted based on professional experience, prior academic record or other criteria.
• English language proficiency – for applicants whose first language is not English, a recognised test such as IELTS or TOEFL is required unless exempted by prior study in English.
• Application documents – a current CV or resume, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation and academic transcripts are typically requested. Some applicants may be invited for an interview.
