What you'll study

This combined programme introduces core concepts from both sociology and anthropology, emphasising comparative perspectives and research practice. You will study social theory, cultural anthropology, social stratification, race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, urban and rural communities, and institutions such as family, education and religion.
