What you'll study

The programme blends foundational courses in international relations theory and quantitative and qualitative research methods with specialist modules in national security, defence policy and intelligence studies. • Academic qualification: A recognised bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, history, economics, or a closely related discipline; strong academic record in undergraduate studies is expected.
• Documentation: Official transcripts, a statement of purpose outlining academic and career goals, and two or three letters of recommendation (academic and/or professional).
• Experience: Relevant professional or internship experience is advantageous, particularly for applicants to the practicum-oriented pathways, but recent graduates with strong academic preparation are also considered.
• Standardised tests and English language: GRE submission may be optional or recommended depending on the applicant’s background; international applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through recognised tests unless otherwise exempted.
• Additional requirements: A current CV/resume and, for some applicants or specialisations, a writing sample or short policy memorandum may be requested.
