What you'll study

The programme builds on core international relations theory and methods while offering specialised courses on diplomacy, European and regional integration, security studies, and global governance. Typical core modules include International Relations Theory, Comparative Foreign Policy, International Political Economy, Research Design and Quantitative Methods, and International Law. Elective modules allow students to focus on areas such as EU Studies, Central and Eastern European Politics, Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Human Rights, Energy and Environment Policy, and Global Development.

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Law, History, or another relevant social science or humanities discipline. Proficiency in English is required; applicants must demonstrate this through an internationally recognised language certificate or equivalent evidence of prior study in English.
