The programme combines core theoretical grounding in international relations with applied skills in policy analysis, research methods and diplomacy. Students also study quantitative and qualitative research methods and complete a supervised masters thesis.

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised bachelors degree (or equivalent) in international relations, political science, economics, law, sociology or another relevant social science. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to an interview.

Instruction is in English, so applicants must demonstrate adequate English language proficiency through a recognised test or equivalent evidence of prior tertiary study in English.
