What you'll study

This master’s programme combines core management theories with applied modules on organisational behaviour, strategic management and operations. Teaching typically covers strategy and business policy, organisational design and change, human resource management, leadership, operations and project management, and research methods for management. Elective options allow specialisation in areas such as entrepreneurship and innovation, service management, digital business and supply chain management. Assessment is a mix of seminars, case studies, group projects, examinations and an independent master's thesis or applied project.

• Research and methods: quantitative and qualitative methods for business research, managerial decision-making tools.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised first-cycle degree (bachelor’s) in business, economics, management, organisational studies or a closely related field. Candidates with degrees in other disciplines who can demonstrate relevant coursework or professional experience in business or management may also be considered. Typical requirements include an official transcript, a curriculum vitae, and a statement of purpose outlining academic and professional goals.

Additional requirements may include:

• Proof of language competence in the language of instruction (Slovenian and/or English) where required; recognised language certificates or evidence of prior study in the language are accepted.
• References or academic letters of recommendation for some applicants.
• An interview or supplementary assessment may be requested for selection in competitive intakes.
