What you'll study

The Master of Teaching (Primary) combines study of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and professional practice for the primary years. Core areas typically include:

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally required to hold a recognised bachelor's degree in any discipline with satisfactory academic standing. Selection may consider your undergraduate results, relevant professional or volunteer experience with children, and a demonstrated motivation for a teaching career.

• Academic requirement: an undergraduate degree from a recognised institution; applicants with non-education degrees are welcome.
• Non-academic requirements: police clearance and working with children checks are required before commencing practicum placements; some form of health or immunisation clearance may also be required.
• International applicants: must meet the university's English language requirements and provide certified documentation as requested.
• Other requirements: you may be asked to supply a CV, referees and participate in a selection interview or provide evidence of relevant experience.
